Working Principle – CO2 and it’s Characteristics.
Carbon dioxide is a gas that we humans interact with every day. We exhale it from our lungs. The vehicle emissions have CO2. It also enables plants to perform photosynthesis to make food. It is heavier than air and hence settles down. It can extinguish certain types of fires. The aim of this experiment is to see the reaction between acids and bases and produce CO2 to extinguish a flame.
