The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Dhanbad is a premier Indian technical institute, originally established in 1926. The Challenge faced in IIT Dhanbad

Standard labs often fall short of the needs of high-volume physics experiments. The deployment of island benches enabled the UG physics lab to accommodate 150 students. This layout helps them use the room’s central space and can work efficiently on both sides. Vertical furniture, such as the 3-ft reagent rack used for storage, complemented this layout and kept the workstation clear. Finally, the streamlined management, including routing centralised power to each workstation, avoids any unnecessary clutter of walls.

Non-disruptive Installation in IIT Dhanbad
