Working Principle – Tilt of earth’s axis
When we imagine earth in space, we imagine the North pole pointing straight up and the South pole pointing down, In reality, the poles do not point straight up and down but are tilted at 23 Degrees and thereby spin at an angle. It is because of this, that sometimes the top half of the earth points towards the sun and sometimes away from it. This is why we have seasons. The aim of this experiment is to verify this aspect of earth inclination.
