Pipettes

The pipette, or chemical dropper, is a small glass or plastic tube used to transfer measurable amounts of liquids from one container to another. French scientist Louis Pasteur developed a range of pipettes, many of which are still used today -- although various modern pipettes provide better reliability and accuracy. Pipettes are used in several science practices, usually when you need to transfer less than 100 millilitres of a solution.
